Getting to Know President-Designate Adela de la Torre
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»s ninth president sees opportunities to strengthen the university's regional, national and global presence.
The president-designate visited Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» in February and March to meet with faculty, staff, students and members of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» community.
She spoke at a campus-wide reception, and later sat down with marketing and communications staff to answer questions about her personal and professional strengths; the opportunities ahead for Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»; her fundraising experience; and the crucial role that faculty, staff and alumni will play in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s future.
