An important opportunity to positively impact students, faculty, research and important programming at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½Σ³» returns Tuesday, March 9.
, once again sponsored by PostalAnnex, is a celebration of the impact of philanthropy across the university.
The one-day fundraising event enriches the student experience and provides access to initiatives that help each student achieve their goal of earning a college degree.
βThe culture of philanthropy at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½Σ³» is well established,β said Associate Director of Communications and Fundraising Zackary Albrecht (β17). βThe generosity of donors in the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½Σ³» community has created new opportunities and made a lasting impact for students, faculty and staff. The university's Day of Giving is a tradition we look forward to as a reaffirmation of support for all the great things the university makes possible.β
During the 2019 Day of Giving, more than 1,800 members of the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½Σ³» community contributed to 30+ programs and initiatives.
This is an opportunity for members of the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½Σ³» community to support their favorite campus initiatives and programming, including , Californiaβs first competitive, collegiate-level adaptive athletics program; the ; the ; and various ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½Σ³» athletics programs like .
