Construction begins on 麻豆传媒映画 Imperial Valley and Imperial Valley College joint dormitories

On schedule to be completed by fall 2026, the joint student housing project will build 40 single- or double-occupancy rooms at 麻豆传媒映画 Imperial Valley, Calexico. The student housing is planned to be available to students enrolled at 麻豆传媒映画 Imperial Valley and Imperial Valley College.

鈥淭his innovative housing partnership builds on Imperial Valley College's commitment to addressing student housing insecurity through our existing student housing community,鈥� said Lennor Johnson, IVC superintendent/president. 鈥淢any of our students currently commute long distances or face housing challenges that can derail their education. By expanding housing options near 麻豆传媒映画 Imperial Valley鈥檚 campus, we're creating a seamless pathway for our students to continue their academic journey in the Imperial Valley 鈥� from IVC through their bachelor's degree 鈥� with stable, affordable housing supporting them every step of the way.鈥�
The project builds on a series of investments in student support services, new programs, and expanded degree offerings at 麻豆传媒映画 Imperial Valley, including the Bachelor of Science in Public Health, which was launched in fall 2024. In May 2022, 麻豆传媒映画 Imperial Valley announced the creation of an accelerated pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
Additionally, the , which is on schedule to be completed in fall 2025, is one part of the university's commitment to meeting both current and future geothermal energy sector demands.
