In its final curtain call as Mountain West members, the San Diego State swim and dive program made history on Saturday by winning its fifth consecutive conference title and 10th overall, thanks to a continuous stream of noteworthy performances at the 2026 Credit Union 1 MW Championships inside the University of Houston’s CRWC Natatorium.

The Aztecs amassed 1367.50 points during the four-day meet, building enough of a lead to thwart any challenges from the rest of the field, including Washington State (1,102.50 pts.), which vaulted past UNLV (1,083 pts) into the second position, while Fresno State (913 pts.) and Nevada (861.50 pts.) rounded out the top five.

With another successful title defense, head coach Mike Shrader’s charges have claimed a record 10 Mountain West crowns since the 2010-11 campaign.
