Welcome Aztecs to the Spring Term
Bienvenidos to the Spring 2026 semester at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»!
I am excited to welcome you to a new term filled with opportunity, discovery, and global connection.
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» thrives because of its diverse community, bringing together people from around the world whose perspectives, cultures, languages, and experiences enrich our campus. I am proud to see continued growth in study abroad and international internships, as students share how these experiences transform their lives. Our strong and expanding partnership with Mexico, including transborder courses, research, and more than a dozen programs in Oaxaca, reflects our deep commitment to global engagement, with even more opportunities on the horizon.
The International Student Center remains a home away from home for students from across the globe, fostering connection through programs such as weekly Cultural Hours. The International Affairs team and I are here to support you, and I encourage you to embrace this semester with curiosity, enthusiasm, and an open mind.
Let’s make this a great semester.
Cristina Alfaro, Ph.D.
Associate Vice President, International Affairs
