This initiative strengthens binational faculty collaboration in research and teaching across the California–Baja California border region. It supports co-created academic experiences between Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» faculty and partner institutions in Mexico, expanding transborder perspectives across disciplines. The initiative fosters multidisciplinary, applied projects focused on regional issues such as environmental challenges, quality of life, sustainable development, economic development, and cross-border planning. Outcomes include joint research projects, fieldwork, and project-based coursework. Binational partner universities in Baja California include:

Faculty seeking to take students across the border for day trip(s) or field trip(s) not associated with a course, must complete this no less than 30 days prior to departure.
